So much has happened lately, it has all gone by in a blur. I have met so many new people, done so many new things, and stressed more than I ever have in my entire life. All of those things are the direct result of college. I began college at the beginning of this school year at one college, and now I am at another, I transfered. While at the first college I started an online magazine called Toast Pop, was featured in the college’s newspaper, and met a pile of new friends. I can honestly say I enjoyed working on the website with my newly met friends at that college!

Since moving back home for the second semester and transferring colleges I have developed an addiction to StarBucks Via Ready Brews. I like the Columbia ones. My new school is a little more stressful, probably because ironically enough I don’t know as many people. There are a bunch of people from my high school who go to college with me now, but I don’t necessarily have classes with them. I got to know a bunch of people at my first college, so I knew someone in every class I had. Regardless, I am very happy to be back home with my family. I am sure that classes will be easier next semester.

The upside about my new college is that I like the food in their cafeteria pretty good. Though the cafeteria is on the entire other side of campus and the walk is almost not worth it, the food is pretty decent. I also really like the drinks they serve, lime Jarritos! I have a hard time getting the lid off of them, since they require a bottle opener, but I have found that using an old key to pry off the lid works. I suppose you have to give up some things to get some things, that only makes sense. I think I gained quite a bit though, being back home is great, I have some amazing family!

I sure have missed blogging, I sort of quit because I wasn’t sure that anyone was reading, but you know what, I think I am going to blog for the reason that I feel blogging was created, to log memories in a format that works for all of us in the “digital age”!
