So recently I took a short road trip with some of my best friends, Dezzy and Brittany. We decided to spend the day in a town about an hour and a half away from where we live, just to get away for the day and have fun. We went to Panera Bread for breakfast, then we went shopping, then finally we topped the day off with an amazing meal at Olive Garden! While shopping we went to Barns & Nobles and met an author of a book titled The Strange Case Of Origami Yoda. He asked us to make little green origami Yoda figures with him, and we did. Before we left he asked if he could get a picture of us for his blog, and of course we agreed to that! He took a picture of us on his iPad and when I got home I found out we were already on the blog! I took a screen shot of it, in case I ever need proof that something that cool actually happened to me. The whole trip was a much needed experience and we all had a ton of fun!

I recently took a trip to The Biltmore Estate in North Carolina. It was amazing! I have been there before, but I was a lot younger, so I didn’t remember that much about it. I like history, so it’s always great to get to see a piece of history, especially one that’s so huge. The estate even has a winery on it, although I am not old enough for a wine tasting, I had some grape juice, which come to find out, isn’t even made at The Biltmore Estate. That was kind of a disappointment.
After spending most of the day there and touring the estate we drove about an hour and a half to two hours to Tennessee where we stayed the night and ate at my favorite restaurant, Olive Garden! I always love eating there, the flavors in their food are unbeatable in my opinion. I tried a new dish that they had just posted on their specials board, and hadn’t even added to their menue yet, and it was perfect! Full of cheese, chicken, and flavor! I’d say it was a pretty great little trip!
